Coalition of WillingLessons for LifeJOIN "LOST BOYS OF SUDAN" IN BUILDING SCHOOLS Many children in war-torn Southern Sudan yearn for an education, but opportunities are extraordinarily limited. You can help secure their future by supporting the Coalition of Willing, a national nonprofit organization formed by the “Lost Boys of Sudan" now living in America, who are working in partnership with Sudanese village leaders to build local schools. After 20 years of war, the need is profound – and urgent. Our Immediate Goal: Secure $125,000 to construct one four-classroom school in Kolnyang.
Who We Are In 2005, the Coalition worked with American friends and raised more than $40,000 for famine relief. When COW members arrived in Sudan, village leaders decided that this gift of food would only address immediate needs. Instead, village leaders suggested it would be better to use the funds to educate the children, so that they could feed themselves and their community for years to come. Those funds became essential seed money for this project. Since then, we have worked to establish good relationships with village leaders and with Sudan’s Ministry of Education in Jonglei. Our first site is primed and ready. We are ready to begin construction, and your contributions are critically needed. Join us -- won't you? -- as a partner in this effort. Together we can make a difference. Together we can secure a brighter future for the children of Sudan. Tax-deductible contributions, payable to "Coalition of Willing," can be mailed to: Tax ID 11-3777891
